Welcome to a Journey inspired by nature's beauty and wonder, where a girl learns that the journey of the river is a reflection of our lives.
She realizes that the river flows within herself,
just like the Spirit Of All Things all around her.
Legendary stories live through generations
to be remembered at the right time, when the meaning of the story is needed most. Inspired by 'The Legend of Goldilockes', this story shares a remembrance of a sacred balance of life and that we have the power to choose love over fear.
This is the story of a girl who learned that the Spirit Of All Things is within our heart and all around us, connecting everything.
As a spark of light dances in the darkness of night, it feels alone and doesn’t know what to do until it realizes it can fly across worlds bringing joy to the earth by dancing round and round again.
As a Little Sunshine asks curious questions about Creation, it learns that all questions, anytime, anywhere, are answered when an honest heart listens to the whispers within.
When Genevieve Locke walks to the river she sees a bear eating salmon and grows very curious to know about the cycle of life, so she asks, "why does the river flow, is it like the trees just know how to grow?" Her mother shares that all things are ever changing so that we learn to grow through re-arranging our heart and soul, spirit and mind. Genevieve learns that in the earliest of days, as people saw the stars, they were in awe and wonder, thinking about the possibilities of how such magic existed, thanking the beauty and magic that shined upon them.
While dealing with the emotions of growing up through troubles and triumphs, Genevieve Locke is challenged to face her struggles to build her strengths.
This is the journal of a girl who meets new friends in a new yet familiar world, and she learns to remember that there is a magical spirit of light that fills the air.
Genevieve Locke finds herself on a journey of self-discovery to remember that within our heart and among the natural world, there is a magical spirit of light that fills the air.
This is the journey of one girl who remembers the magic.

Jocelyn grew up in the countryside along a river, climbing trees and exploring a nearby forest with her family of seven. In Grade 3 she played Goldilockes in a school play which would inspire her to maintain the intention of bringing the Legend to Life.
After graduating from university with a degree in Psychology focused on Psychology of the Self, Psychology of Religion and Creative Writing, a life changing moment happened in 2007. She envisioned making films put to music because they share a powerful message. She bought a camera and began filming her journey of exploring the world with the intention to understanind, 'why the world is the way it is'.
While filing a portrayal of Chief Tecumseh (1768 – October 5, 1813) at a heritage days event in her hometown of Chatham, Ontario, Canada, Jocelyn was determined to learn more about indigenous wisdom when the words of Chief Tecumseh shared, "When the sun rises, give thanks for the very breath in your bodies and the joy of living".
She moved to Vancouver (2009-2011) to discover stories about the city welcoming the world for the Olympics before returning to Ontario to continue honing her crafts of creative storytelling. For years, she travelled and filmed cultural and heritage events to discover a unifying message that would allow her to share her continually deepening passion for nature, with the world. Through years of research and writing, she wrote a series of books and a movie script, inspired by the Legend of Goldilockes and the insights she has experienced through her personal journey of remembering 'The Spirit Of Life that is us and all around us, connecting everything'.
With optimism for sharing a true sense of appreciation for the pristine beauty of the natural world, her stories encourage a sense of awe and wonder for the cosmos, nature and celebration of life.
